Custom girder sleeves

As the name suggests, girder sleeves are hollow on the inside. The tube shape offers a high load-bearing capacity and it is therefore a good solution, especially for large, heavier constructions.

Girder sleeves provide complete coverage

Girder sleeves form complete coverage made of prefab concrete. The girders do not carry a cast load, so the full capacity of the girders can be used to carry the variable load. The result is a limited construction height. The hollow space in the girder is obtained by using a polystyrene core or by supporting the girder in two phases. In the latter case, a U-shaped section is first produced. Once it has hardened sufficiently – after about three hours – the deck is poured onto a permanent formwork.
